A key strength for BRHS is the invaluable support received from the community. We value the partnership we have with all of these people, and would like to thank those who have generously contributed through donations and precious time, enabling us to ensure that quality patient care is ongoing.
This contribution encompasses a variety of sources including fundraising auxiliaries, local community groups, the business sector and private individuals. We gratefully acknowledge this support, which provides our patients and clients with additional equipment and comfort to meet their health care needs.
The local community has a long-standing partnership with this agency, which began with fundraising to build the first hospital in Bairnsdale. Ongoing special fundraising events have contributed significantly to the ongoing upgrading of hospital facilities assisting the hospital and health care services to meet community needs.
A number of affiliated auxiliaries also raise funds for BRHS including the Bowerbirds, Pelicans, Kiosk Auxilary and Flower Auxiliary.
