Bairnsdale Regional Health Service (BRHS) Board of Management recently welcomed its newest member, Julie Small.

Julie joins re-appointed members, Peter Murphy, Mendy Urie and Brendon Moar alongside Board President, Angela Hutson, Doug Vickers, Lindley Jones, Tim Watford and Chris Barry.

Now employed as administration manager at Nagle College, Julie has expertise in the areas of human resources management, occupational health and safety, reporting, and office management.

Previously Julie worked as branch manager of the Paynesville and District Community Bank branch and as an oil industry professional, including 15 years at the Shell Company of Australia Ltd.

She is an active member of Bairnsdale Sunrise Rotary Club and continues to work with teams of Rotary members on projects that support the local community.

In 2015, Julie worked on an initiative for East Gippsland Specialist School to raise funds for a new sensory playground. She also helps with fundraising activities for the Cooper Trewin SUDC Memorial Fund.

“I am passionate about people, health and community, and feel grateful that my appointment to the Board of Bairnsdale Regional Health Service will enable me to contribute in these areas,” she said.

Board President, Angela Hutson, said “I am very pleased to welcome Julie to the Board and believe her wealth of experience at both community and industry level will make her a valuable contributor to the organisation.”
