BRHS Community Advisory Committee invites all fellow Regional CAC members to join the bi-annual forum.
When: Wednesday 18 October 2017
Where: Central Gippsland Health – 155 Guthridge Place Sale, Victoria 3850
A series of speakers will present on topics related to providing a Culturally Safe Environment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, Understanding the Patient Journey and the Importance of Health Literacy.
The highlight of the morning will be the Special Guest Speaker, Dr Beth Wilson A.M. who talk about the thought provoking issues of Community Engagement.
The forum aims to support and update CAC members. The afternoon sessions will be devoted to providing an opportunity for attendees to network with other CAC members and talk to guest speakers.
The Program is designed to be enlightening and interactive providing opportunities to share knowledge and learning’s about the important topics that members care about on a community level.
Cost: complimentary for CAC members and volunteers. $50 for other health employees.
