BRHS received three times as many compliments from consumers and visitors to the hospital in July as complaints.
During July we received 24 compliments and 8 complaints.
Our Surgical Services team deserve special credit for the terrific result, with 7 compliments in the month.
The Emergency Dept. received 5 compliments, with consumers also praising the work of staff in Oncology and Dialysis, Flanagan, Rotamah and Sutherland wards, Alcohol and Drug rehab, and Communications.
“Across the organisation we’ve put a lot of effort into being very consumer-focused in everything we do, and it’s terrific to see that is having an impact,” said Laura McDonald, BRHS’ Quality and Risk Manager.
The compliments covered a wide range of aspects of the consumer’s experience at BRHS, including the quality of the care they received and the friendliness and helpfulness of staff they encountered.
