Are you a skilled Emergency Nurse fed up with long hours and the daily commute?

Is living on beautiful waterways appealing?

If so, then it sounds like you are ready for a sea (or tree) change with us….

Ongoing, Part Time, 32.0 – 72.0 hours per fortnight (negotiable)

Applications are invited from experienced Emergency Nurses looking for a new challenge. As an Emergency Nurse at BRHS we can offer you an environment focussed on innovation, professional development and accountability. You will join a friendly and supportive nursing team and work in a dynamic setting providing emergency care to a large range of presentations.

The Emergency Department of Bairnsdale Regional Health Service provides trauma and emergency healthcare to the residents of Bairnsdale and the wider East Gippsland region. Recently the department has been expanded to include a 5 bed Short Stay Unit and an Emergency Nurse Practitioner operating out of a fast track treatment area. Medical staffing is comprised of a SMO with strong support from HMO’s, interns on rotation and the VMO community.

As an experienced Emergency Nurse you will provide best practice, patient centred care and use your expertise to provide professional support to our ED team. In return, you will have access to higher level clinical support and opportunities for career advancement. With a strong focus on professional development BRHS offers numerous development opportunities including our annual Postgraduate Nurse Program and our new Scholarship Support Scheme.

If you are looking for a change but wanting to maintain or further develop your professional skills, then this role will provide you with the perfect platform to do this.
