We are increasing our usual schedule of Staff Open Forums in order to give everyone that works at BRHS more of an opportunity to stay informed with what’s happening at the health service and suggest ways we can improve.
There will be 3 Staff Open Forums in September, including 2 at the Ross Street Campus.
The full schedule of forums is below.
BRHS staff are encouraged to attend the Staff Open Forums, which usually run from 30 – 45 minutes, to get organisational updates including our financial status, how we are tracking with our departmental targets and upcoming campaigns or events.
It is also an opportunity to ask questions of CEO Robyn Hayles, and share concerns or ideas about things impacting your work.
“If people have an idea about something they’d like to improve, this is the perfect forum to share that idea,” says Executive Assistant to the CEO Aasta Holmes. “It helps every staff member feel a part of the whole operation of the health service when they know what big picture things are happening that they may not otherwise hear about.”
Staff Open Forums are held in double time on different days of the week so that a spread of different staff can attend.
Feedback is welcome at each meeting on topics that staff would like to hear about or how the forums could be utilised.
