What is Telehealth?

Bairnsdale Regional Health Service embraces technology where it can to add value to care, safe service delivery, decision-making, effectiveness and efficiency.
One of the ways we achieve this is through video consultations known as “Telehealth.” Telehealth services link patients to consultants via video call. This remove the barriers of travel, financial and time constraints for specialist services.

Telehealth for Patients

Telehealth appointments are now offered in certain BRHS clinics and programs. Speak with your GP if you are interested in having a consultation via Telehealth. Our specialists will triage your referral and determine if Telehealth is suitable for your care.
